Edinburgh Trip

I visited Edinburgh for the first time over the last bank holiday weekend. Edinburgh was a very beautiful historical city.

I visited 5 museums/galleries in Edinburgh, all of them were free admission!

Scottish National Gallery Artworks range from the early Renaissance to 1900 and the national collection of Scottish art.

Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art showcases modern and contemporary art, plus renowned Dada and Surrealist collections. It has two buildings, both are located near each other.

City Art Centre had many great works by Scottish artists, and I enjoyed viewing them very much.

National Museum of Scotland was like a compact version of British Museum. You can look around within a few hours so even if you are on a short trip, you can fit it in your schedule. It exhibits the natural world, world cultures, art and design, science and technology and Scottish history.

Edinburgh is a great city to explore its Scottish culture, history and art.
During the stay I had my favourite Scottish dish, haggis in a pub on Royal Mile.  Delicious..
